Innovating for the Future
Our Vision
The Shiba Foundation supports long-term, sustainable economic development in the Pacific Northwest by investing in individual growth.
We work with people who are seeking more meaning, direction, or momentum in their personal and professional lives. Through hands-on programs in entrepreneurship, leadership, community development, and well-being, we help individuals build the skills and confidence to move forward.
Research shows that well-being and self-efficacy are directly linked to personal and community growth. Our approach focuses on sustainable, accessible activities that create real and lasting change — starting with the individual and extending outward into the broader community.
Kitsap County has extraordinary potential. We exist to help unlock it.

The ADHD Neighbor
The ADHD Neighbor FAQ is a free community resource made possible through collaboration with Olympic Peninsula CHADD.
Community members across the Olympic Peninsula submit anonymous ADHD questions. Local experts — therapists, school psychologists, pediatricians, and ADHD coaches — volunteer their time to answer them. Every answer is published here, free for anyone to read.
No appointment. No cost. No barriers.
Who we are
Our team consists of a wide range of learners from around the world who are working to develop and apply their knowledge, perspective, and skills through hands-on involvement in entrepreneurship.
Our team members exhibit high levels of intrinsic motivation which drives their commitment to engage in activities that positively benefit society. Through their ongoing development with the Foundation, they will be able to apply their new knowledge and skill, and create a meaningful impact within their respective fields.
